The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has assured air travellers that all the airports under its management are fully prepared to process the expected surging passenger movement during this Sallah celebration.

In a statement signed by FAAN’s acting General Manager, Public Affairs, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu, the agency said all logistics were in place for in-bound and out-bound travellers.

“Airport security and other logistics have been upgraded and strengthened to provide for the expected increase in passenger traffic in and around our airports.

“New directional display units have been provided to guide travellers, especially new ones, at our airports. Airport dos and don’ts banners have also been displayed at strategic locations to educate newcomers,” the statement said.

The agency also advised the general public and intended travellers to make early preparations to enable them complete travel requirements in good time.

FAAN also said it was committed to watertight security, guaranteed safety and improved facilitation at the nation’s airports.
