Emirates Passenger Dies on Arrival at MMIA

A Nigerian, Isaac Olusola Dada, who was said to have been ill, died of heart attack on Wednesday on arrival at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos after disembarking from Emirates flight from Dubai.

The deceased with passport number A04501199 was said to have slumped and died immediately he arrived the airport terminal.

The report from police sources said that while monitoring activities at the airport,  it was gathered that the aforementioned passenger slumped on arrival at the Checkport  screening point at about 6:30 pm and was quickly attended to and given  medication by medical practitioners  from Port Health.

However the passenger was later pronounced dead at 7:34 pm.

The passenger was accompanied by his wife and members of the Lions Club on arrival and his remains was said to have been taken away by his wife to the morgue.

The deceased and wife flew from the US through Dubai to Lagos.
