Medview Apologises to Passengers over Disruption on Its Lagos-London Flights

    About 120  passengers billed to travel to London from Lagos on Medview Airline flight were  yesterday stranded when the domestic carrier could not make operating aircraft available. 

    Many of the passengers arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos by 8:00 am for1:00 pm and waited beyond the flight time without any word from the airlinebutindications showed that the aircraft that would airlifted them to Gatwick airport, London was not there.

    However, a statement from the airline  ‎explained that following disruption of its  flights due to “operational reasons” it was still determined to airlift them to their destination.

    The airline said in the statement that it has reached out to  the affected passengers  and assured them they would be airlifted today (Monday) by 3:00 pm because all operational issues must have Ben resolved.

    “We are deeply sorry for all the inconveniences suffered by the affected passengers and every thing possible within Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) in aviation is being done to airlift them,” the airline said.

    It also assured  the passengers that it  ‎would not abandon its obligations to passengers, saying that safety comes first in all its operations.
