Virgin Atlantic has introduced special sales to celebrate St. Valentine Day.
The airline, which operates daily flights between Lagos Murtala Mohammed International Airport and London Heathrow, is offering two discounted fares to help connect the hopelessly romantic.
“If you are separated from your loved one by land or sea, fly to them in style from $1, 316. This special rate offers a 15 per cent discount and is available when buying one return ticket to London in Premium Economy class,” the airline said.
The airline said alternatively customers can spoil their loved ones with a 50 per cent discount on the second ticket when a customer buys two Premium Economy class return tickets to London; the total cost of the two tickets combined would be from $2, 320, leaving enough for a romantic dinner for two during their romantic break away.
“While some say distance makes the heart grow fonder,” says Adrian Bird, Virgin Atlantic Country Manager West Africa, “actually being and spending quality time with the object of your desire is always so much better. Connecting people is our business and that’s why we’ve put together these special Valentine’s offers.”
The airline said all fares are exclusive of taxes.
